The following work relates to my interest in Still Life and the17th century Spanish 'Bodegones' artists that worked at raising the status of the everyday object, often choosing to paint food and kitchen objects. My work is currently focusing on looking at the overlooked, using Juan Sanchez Cotan's work 'Cabbage, Quince and Melon 'as a template.Labels: Still Life. After Galizia 2011

OCTOBER 2011 Began full time MA. Chose to stay at Wimbledon. It is now March and there is no doubt this has been a challenging 5 months. Recently my practice has changed in that instead of using the 'Readymade' as my subject, I am making 'the object' to photograph and an 'Archival/collection' element has been introduced.
